HHU AND FCS WORKED TOGETHER IN SAM AGRICULTURE IN NJOMBE REGION

Highlands Hope Umbrella (HHU) Partnering with Foundation For Civil Society (FCS) worked together in Njombe region to improve agriculture in Social Accountability and Monitoring (SAM) where by FCS Funded the project. NAME OF PROJECT: Strengthening Follow up and Evaluate the Impact of Social Accountability Monitoring (SAM) to Improve Agriculture development intervention in Njombe, Tanzania. The projected started 2018 and commenced March 2022.

The project reached Five wards of Njombe Town council by using SAM members committee who got special training. Awareness to community done where by 5180 farmers where reached direct and 10,000 people where reached by local radio program.

For the year 2022 to 2023 Foundation for Civil Society (FCS) has again funded the  project which will work on Health issues which is called PUBLIC EXPENDITURE TRACKING SYSTEM (PETS) Highlands Hope Umbrella (HHU) is the implementer of the project.
