Dr. Zin Zin Winkoko stopped to visit with leaders of Highlands Hope in Njombe on her way to begin work with PIUMA, the HIV patient-activist group in Makete District. Dr. Zin Zin recently completed a Master's degree at a Bangkok Univerity in advanced HIV and malaria care and will be based at the PIUMA headquarters in Bulongwa.

Her work will focus on re-establishing high quality HIV care for PIUMA members and other people affected by HIV in the Bulongwa area (see www.piuma-simba.org for more information about PIUMA).

She was welcomed to the Highlands by Betty Liduke of Highlands Hope and the Katibu of PIUMA, Anna Mwinuka.
